      To foster growth and innovation at Dexcom, this individual will support all aspects of Intellectual Property (IP) detailed below including IP procurement, enforcement, and competitive analysis. This individual will work with and advise internal clients at all levels of R&D and business leadership on various IP matters. As a key team member, this individual must be a highly motivated self-starter, who is comfortable collaborating as part of a team, communicating directly with senior leaders, and working independently. The ideal Candidate with outstanding legal and communication skills will work closely with our Chief Legal Officer and outside counsel, and collaborate on complex corporate projects with other members of the executive team.       • Negotiating, drafting, and executing a variety of commercial contracts, NDAs, domestic and international franchise related contracts, including franchise agreements and multi-unit development agreements, licensing agreements, SAAS agreements, and more.

      The Vice President, Assistant General Counsel in the firm's Early Dispute Resolution (EDR) group is responsible for a broad range of in-house legal services, with primary focus on responding to investor complaints, including both sales practice and operational complaints, collaborating on regulatory inquiries and resolving customer complaints before they escalate, and defending the firm and its advisors prior to litigation.       What You'll Get to Do:

      • Provide prompt and thorough advice on trade compliance matters and inquiries to business and functional partners.
